Pars Today – The Group 7 (G7) countries have agreed to impose more sanctions on Moscow if Russia refuses to agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine.
In their final communiqué following a meeting in Canada, the G7 finance ministers and central bank governors stated: “If no agreement on a ceasefire is reached, we will continue to explore all possible options, including increased pressure and sanctions against Russia.” In recent weeks, efforts to establish a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine have increased, and delegations from both sides met in Istanbul, Turkey, last week.
