Zionist officials and generals oppose appointment of new Shin Bet chief
Pars Today – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s proposal to appoint a new head for the internal security service (Shin Bet) has met with opposition from many senior Israeli officials and generals.
Political figures and high-ranking military officers of the Zionist regime have criticized the appointment of Major General David Zini as the new head of Shin Bet and have called for his resignation. In this regard, former Shin Bet chiefs have demanded Zini’s dismissal and the appointment of an interim chief for the agency. Israel's Channel 13 television also quoted senior military officers of the regime as saying that Zini is not a suitable candidate to lead Shin Bet and they also are calling for his resignation.
