Pars Today – A Russian news agency, quoting a Russian air defense commander, reported Sunday that President Vladimir Putin’s helicopter came under a massive drone attack by Ukraine during his visit to the Kursk region—but the attack was repelled.
Yuri Dashkin, commander of one of Russia’s regional air defense units, stated that Putin’s helicopter “was effectively at the center of an operation to repel a large-scale drone assault by the enemy.” He added that Ukraine’s attack was successfully neutralized and the president’s safety was ensured. Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin also confirmed that Ukrainian Armed Forces continued their attacks during Putin’s visit to the Kursk region. (IRNA)
