Ghalibaf re-elected as Iranian Parliament speaker

Pars Today – Iranian lawmakers have once again elected Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf as Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) for another year during the second session of the 12th parliament.

In the vote to elect the speaker of the parliament, Ghalibaf, representing the Tehran, Rey, Shemiranat, Eslamshahr, and Pardis constituencies, received 219 votes out of 272 cast, securing his position as speaker of the Iranian Parliament for the second consecutive term in the current legislature. / IRNA
