Iran and Malaysia advancing toward a digital future through joint cooperation
Pars Today – The communications ministers of Iran and Malaysia, during a meeting in Tokyo, outlined a roadmap for digital cooperation and affirmed their serious commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and space technology.
On the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity Ministerial Meeting (APT-MM) in Tokyo, Iran’s Seyed Sattar Hashemi and Malaysia’s Ahmad Fahmi bin Mohamed Fadzil, the two countries’ communications ministers, expressed readiness to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and engage in joint investment in fields such as cybersecurity, smart governance, artificial intelligence, and space telecommunications. Iran also welcomed between $20 to $25 billion in foreign investment in the communications sector. (IRNA)
