Iran’s Parliament speaker to Venezuelan FM: We have common enemies & allies

Pars Today – Iran’s Parliament (Majlis) speaker, during a meeting with Venezuela’s foreign minister in Caracas, said on Sunday that the two countries share common friends and foes, and therefore must enhance bilateral relations.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf told Yvan Gil Pinto: “Iran and Venezuela are united in their fight against global arrogance.” He added that the constant threat of arrogant powers lies in their efforts to sow division among nations, and stressed the need to counter their plots. Venezuela’s foreign minister responded by saying that Caracas fully supports Iran in all areas, stating: “Iran’s victory is Venezuela’s victory.” (ISNA)
