Gharibabadi: Securing Iran’s full nuclear rights is key issue in negotiations
Pars Today – The deputy foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated on Thursday that “access to peaceful nuclear technology and enrichment based on Iran’s real societal needs” is a fundamental demand, stressing that the most important principle in Iran’s foreign policy is independence.
Kazem Gharibabadi told reporters that the principles of the Islamic Republic’s foreign policy are enshrined in the country’s Constitution and are based on the teachings of Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him).
He emphasized that the principle of independence—derived from the rule of “Nafy-e Sabil” (rejection of foreign domination)—is the cornerstone of all actions in Iran’s foreign policy apparatus. (ISNA)
