Kremlin adviser: Ukraine delays prisoner exchange

Pars Today – Kremlin Adviser and Head of the Russia's delegation at the talks with Ukraine, Vladimir Medinsky announced that Ukraine has unexpectedly postponed the exchange of prisoners and the handover of fallen soldiers’ remains indefinitely.
During the second round of peace talks in Istanbul, Russia and Ukraine had agreed on a mutual exchange of prisoners and the return of 12,000 deceased soldiers. Medinsky wrote on social media: “On June 6, in full accordance with the Istanbul agreements, Russia launched a humanitarian operation to return over 6,000 Ukrainian soldiers’ bodies and is also prepared to exchange wounded, sick, and under-25 prisoners.” (IRIB news agency)
