Lebanese presidency condemns Israeli aggression in Syria

Pars Today – Lebanon’s president has condemned Wednesday’s Israeli aggressions in Syria and warned of the consequences of continued attacks and rising regional tensions.

President Joseph Aoun of Lebanon stated that Israel’s attacks on Syria are a blatant violation of the sovereignty of a fellow Arab nation as well as a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter. He warned that such aggressions pose a serious risk to regional security and stability.

Reaffirming Lebanon’s solidarity with the Syrian government and people, President Aoun called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and pressure the Zionist regime through all diplomatic channels to halt its repeated aggressions and respect Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
