Trump renews threats against BRICS

Pars Today – US President Donald Trump has once again threatened to impose tariffs on BRICS, stating that if the group forms in any meaningful way, it “will quickly come to an end.”

Speaking Friday night, Trump said: “When I heard about BRICS and its six member states, I attacked them forcefully. If they form meaningfully, they will be over quickly.”

He also reiterated his commitment to preserving the global status of the US dollar as a reserve currency and said he would never allow the establishment of a central bank for digital currency in the United States. (IRNA)
