Palestinian Health Ministry: 650,000 children in Gaza face imminent death
Pars Today – The Palestinian Ministry of Health has warned that over 650,000 children are facing imminent death as a result of the Israeli regime’s policy of deliberate starvation in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Ministry said that by targeting crowds at humanitarian aid distribution points and enforcing a systematic starvation policy, the Israeli regime has driven an unprecedented number of Palestinians of all ages to hospitals and emergency rooms.
Many of the victims are admitted in states of extreme exhaustion and weakness. Hundreds of Gazans have become emaciated and are on the brink of death, as their bodies can no longer withstand such severe hunger.
The statement further noted that so far, 69 children have martyred due to malnutrition, while the total number of fatalities caused by the lack of food and medicine in Gaza has surpassed 620. (Mehr news agency)
