Iran’s Foreign Ministry: Humanity’s conscience is numb to Gaza atrocities

Pars Today – The spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday that the world is witnessing the normalization of crimes and killings in Gaza and lamented that humanity’s conscience appears to be in a state of complete numbness.

Esmaeil Baghaei, expressing disgust at the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza, said, “What has been added to the recent genocide is the weaponization of food and water to massacre innocent children and women in Gaza.”

He stressed that Gaza has been under siege for several months now and “with deep regret, the conscience of humanity is in a state of total numbness while crimes and killings have become normalized.”

Baghaei added that the international community has failed this test, and called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to convene an emergency meeting. He noted that the Islamic Republic has formally submitted this request to the OIC Secretariat.
