Naim Qassem: Confronting Israeli regime is possible only through resistance

Pars Today – Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that confronting imperialism and the Israeli regime is possible only through resistance.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Sheikh Naim Qassem made the remarks in a video message to the Resistance Martyr Conference, held on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Imamiyyah Students Organization in Pakistan. He said that resistance is the only way to liberate occupied lands, stressing that confronting imperialism and the Israeli regime is possible only through resistance.

Emphasizing that the resistance option has proven effective in Lebanon despite the imbalance of power, he added: “Our experience with resistance in Lebanon has proven that it liberates the land and the people, drives out the Zionist enemy after defeating and humiliating it, and restores the Palestinian cause to its vitality and ability to advance.”

The Hezbollah secretary-general described the Palestinian issue as a central issue and stressed that resistance in all its forms is necessary.

Regarding the [US and Israeli regime’s] war against Iran, Sheikh Naim Qassem said: “The aggression against the Islamic Republic was carried out with the aim of overthrowing it, but it ended with Iran’s victory.”
