Pars Today – An Israeli newspaper reported on Monday, quoting a source, that the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has demanded the entry of hundreds of aid trucks into Gaza as a precondition for resuming negotiations with the Israeli regime.

The Jerusalem Post stated that this demand has recently been conveyed to mediators involved in the talks between Hamas and Israel. This comes after the Israeli regime withdrew from indirect negotiations with Hamas held in Doha, Qatar, leading to a breakdown in the talks.

On March 2, the Israeli regime closed the Gaza border crossings to the entry of humanitarian, relief, and medical aid, which triggered an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the enclave.

Recently, talks aimed at reaching a possible ceasefire in Gaza have resumed with mediation by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States. The proposed plan includes a 60-day ceasefire, a halt to hostilities, a partial exchange of prisoners and detainees, and subsequent negotiations for a permanent ceasefire and an end to the war.
