Maduro: Venezuela ready for “Armed Struggle” to defend national sovereignty

Pars Today – The President of Venezuela emphasized that the country is prepared for an “armed struggle” to defend its national sovereignty.

On Friday, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, speaking before tens of thousands of members of the country’s grassroots forces and during the swearing‑in ceremony of 47,000 local commanders, said: “The Venezuelan nation seeks peace, but in the face of threats from extremist groups and their foreign supporters, it will not hesitate for a moment to enter into an ‘armed struggle’ to defend national sovereignty.” / IRIB News Agency
