UN Secretary-General of emphasizes an immediate ceasefire in Gaza

Pars Today - The UN Secretary-General, emphasizing an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, warned of casualties in the region following the Zionist regime's announcement of new operations.

Antonio Guterres, the UN Secretary-General, stated: "Achieving an immediate ceasefire in Gaza is crucial. A ceasefire is necessary to prevent the death and destruction that the Israeli military operations against Gaza City will inevitably bring."

The Zionist regime, which has called up tens of thousands of army reservists, continues its plan to capture Gaza's largest urban center despite international criticism of an operation that is likely to lead to the displacement of many Palestinians.

Israel currently controls about 75% of the Gaza Strip.
