Araghchi appreciates Egypt’s role in facilitating the diplomatic process

Pars Today – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a tweet, expressed appreciation for the role of the Egyptian government in facilitating the diplomatic process.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, tweeted on the night of Tuesday, September 8, 2025, stating: “The Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its deep gratitude and appreciation to the government of Egypt for its prominent and constructive role in facilitating the diplomatic process.”

He added: “The framework for Iran’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, whose implementation requires refraining from illegal and provocative actions and reciprocating Iran’s goodwill, became possible thanks to the efforts of Egypt’s Foreign Minister and the support of the country’s President.”

Araghchi emphasized: “The Iranian nation is a friend to all countries that choose the path of peace over conflict and tension.” / IRIB News Agency
