Arab and African Parliaments condemn attack on Qatar
Pars Today – In an extraordinary session in Cairo, Arab and African parliaments issued a statement strongly condemning the Zionist regime’s attack on Qatar and the ongoing war against Gaza, describing it as a direct threat to global security and a blatant violation of international law.
The Arab Parliament, chaired by Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamhi, and the African Parliament, chaired by Chief Charumbira, held an extraordinary session in Cairo on Friday to review recent developments in the region. At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parliaments issued a joint statement describing the Zionist regime’s attack on Qatar as “an aggression against all Arab and African countries” and “a clear violation of the UN Charter and international norms.”
The statement emphasized that this attack represents the dominance of “the law of the jungle” over international law. The participants further condemned the ongoing war of the Zionist regime against Gaza, describing it as an instance of “genocide, ethnic cleansing, and organized starvation,” which has so far claimed the lives of thousands of civilians, mostly women and children. The statement also referred to the war crimes committed by the Israeli regime in the West Bank.
