Pars Today - The Director General of the West Asia Office of the Trade Development Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran says Iran's exports to a number of regional countries, including Turkey, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain, have increased in the first half of this year.

Abdul Amir Rabihavi, Director General of the West Asia Office of the Iranian Trade Development Organization, said, "According to statistics, exports to West Asian countries, including Turkey, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain, have seen an 8 to 9 percent increase in the first six months of this year, indicating a positive trend in Iran's foreign trade in the region". Rabihavi stated that the total trade volume of West Asian countries is over 2,037 billion dollars, adding: Currently, Iran's share of this figure is less than one percent, but we have a clear roadmap to increase this share. Our targets for trade with Turkey are 30 billion dollars, with Iraq 20 billion dollars, and with Oman 5 billion dollars. / IRIB News Agency
