270 martyred in Lebanon since ceasefire
Pars Today – According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, since last year’s ceasefire in the country, over 270 people have been martyred due to Israeli aggression and repeated violations of the ceasefire.
The Ministry also reported that around 850 people have been injured since the ceasefire as a result of Israeli attacks. Thamin Al-Khaitan, spokesperson for the UN Human Rights Commission, told the media that 107 of the victims were civilians.
Candice Ardill, spokesperson for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), stated that from November 27, 2024, to mid-October this year, approximately 950 Israeli artillery shells and 100 airstrikes by Tel Aviv were recorded in Lebanon.
Continuing its ceasefire violations, the Israeli regime on Monday targeted two areas in southern Lebanon—Al-Mahmoudiyeh and Al-Jarmaq—in two separate airstrike operations. / IRIB News Agency
