Over 22,000 children martyred in Israeli regime's attacks on Gaza

Pars Today – The head of the Pediatrics and Obstetrics Department at the Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza stated on Thursday that over 22,000 Palestinian children have been martyred in the strip since the beginning of the Israeli regime's attack in October 2023.

Ahmad Al-Farra, the head of the Pediatrics and Obstetrics Department at the Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza, announced that in addition to this, another 5,500 Palestinian children urgently need to be transferred and treated outside of Gaza. However, the blockade and the closure of border crossings have prevented this.

The head of the Pediatrics and Obstetrics Department at the Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza further added that 44 Palestinian children have so far lost their lives solely due to being prevented from leaving Gaza for medical treatment.

This Palestinian health official described the current situation as a "complete humanitarian catastrophe" and stated that the international community must act immediately to save the lives of wounded and sick children in Gaza.
