Lebanese Interior Minister: Israel violates ceasefire preparations

Pars Today – Ahmad Al-Hajjar, Lebanon’s Interior Minister, said that the Israeli regime is violating the preparations for a ceasefire.

Emphasizing Beirut’s commitment to Lebanon’s national sovereignty and the independence of its decisions, Al-Hajjar stated that Lebanon is committed to extending the government’s authority across the entire country by relying on its own capabilities.

He emphasized the central role of the Lebanese army in supporting the country and maintaining national stability, adding that the nation’s armed forces are the main pillar for implementing the government’s security and defense policies.

Criticizing the behavior of the Israeli regime toward Lebanon, he stated that the preparations for a ceasefire have not been respected and that the Israeli side has repeatedly violated them. The Lebanese Interior Minister also highlighted that rebuilding the affected areas is a key priority for restoring citizens’ trust in the Beirut government. /IRNA
