Iran’s fishery exports surpass $700 million
Pars Today – On Wednesday, the Head of Iran’s Fisheries Organization announced that exports of the country’s fishery products have grown by 40%, reaching over $700 million.
Hamzeh Rostampour, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Head of Iran’s Fisheries Organization, highlighted the increase in exports of fishery products and aquafeed during the first six months of this year. He noted that Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province holds a special place in Iran’s fisheries industry, producing over 70% of the country’s aquafeed. Rostampour added that Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari trout has the potential to become a national brand. /IRNA
