UN: Restrictions continue to hinder aid delivery to Gaza

Pars Today – A UN spokesperson highlighted that significant restrictions still impede the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, calling for the removal of these barriers to ensure faster assistance to the Palestinian people.

Stephane Dujarric, UN spokesperson, told reporters on Wednesday that UN humanitarian partners are still distributing hot meals and bread, but customs delays force them to ration food supplies. Dujarric added that around 4,000 displaced people returned to northern Gaza last week. While efforts to provide shelter and winter assistance are increasing, substantial needs remain. /IRNA
