Grossi: Iran is not seeking to build nuclear weapons

Pars Today – The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reiterated claims about Iran’s uranium stockpiles on Friday but emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran is not seeking to build nuclear weapons.

Rafael Grossi, without condemning the illegal military attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Iran, stated: “The reality is that these attacks have caused significant damage to Iran’s nuclear infrastructure; however, none of these technical capabilities are irreparable, and this is not a technology that Iran is unaware of or unable to rebuild.”

Grossi added: “I must stress that Iran is not seeking to build nuclear weapons; what it is doing is developing advanced technologies.”
