Pars Today – The Egyptian Foreign Minister, in a meeting with members of the Lebanese Parliament, stressed Cairo’s support for the stability and sovereignty of Lebanon and called for the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Foreign Minister, in a meeting with members of the Lebanese Parliament in Beirut, emphasized Cairo’s firm stance in supporting Lebanon’s national institutions to maintain stability and internal unity.
Abdelatty described Lebanon as a key pillar of regional security and stated that protecting its sovereignty is a priority of Egypt’s foreign policy.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister also called for the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, the guaranteed withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory, and an end to Israeli aggression. /Mehr
