Pakistan opposes participation in Hamas disarmament

Pars Today – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister reiterated the country’s position against joining any international force in Gaza to disarm the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.

Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, emphasized that Pakistan will not engage in any action aimed at disarming the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). He stated that Pakistan does not seek to impose peace or disarm Hamas, but rather aims to participate in establishing peace.

Previously, Pakistan’s Defense Minister strongly denied reports suggesting the country might join an international force to disarm Hamas, affirming that Islamabad will never pursue such objectives. /IRNA
