Venezuela appreciates Iran’s support against U.S. bullying

Pars Today – Venezuela’s Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for Iran’s support against U.S. coercion.

Iván Gil Pinto, Venezuela’s Foreign Minister, on behalf of the Bolivarian government and President Nicolás Maduro, thanked the Iranian government for its firm condemnation of the U.S.’s recent unilateral action to close Venezuelan airspace.

The statement noted that Iran’s courageous and decisive stance in defending Venezuela’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity aligns closely with the position of the Venezuelan people. It emphasized that violations of fundamental international law norms and threats to international aviation safety are shared concerns that unite Caracas and Tehran in striving for a world filled with justice, dignity, and peace. /IRNA
