Expansion of Iran–Turkey scientific and educational cooperation

Pars Today – Iran’s Minister of Science, Research, and Technology and Turkey’s ambassador in Tehran emphasized the expansion of bilateral scientific and educational cooperation.

On Monday, Hossein Simayi Sarraf, Iran’s Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, and Hicabi Kırlangıç, Turkey’s Ambassador to Tehran, met to discuss establishing joint academic programs and chairs, exchanging professors and students, and strengthening educational centers.

The Iranian minister proposed enhanced cooperation between universities and research institutes in both countries in fields such as languages and literature, basic sciences, and technology.

Both sides expressed readiness to elevate Iran–Turkey scientific collaboration to a stable and constructive level through the development of joint projects and long-term planning. / IRIB
