Pars Today — A recent Israeli study indicates that over 80% of young Israelis in northern occupied Palestine are considering leaving the region due to unemployment and economic stagnation.

According to the Galilee Development Organization, 64% of residents in northern occupied Palestine, including the Golan Heights and Haifa, are thinking about leaving their area, with this figure rising to 83% among young people due to a lack of job opportunities and the economic downturn.

Experts say this unprecedented statistic represents the most severe sign of structural employment crisis in the Galilee in recent decades.

Ofir Shik, head of the Galilee development organization, admitted that the depth of the crisis is beyond expectations, with the shortage of employment being the main factor driving Israelis away from the region.

Data published in Hebrew-language media show that after the Gaza war, the number of Israelis seeking to reside in Europe and North America has multiplied. Many families, citing economic instability, insecurity, identity crises, and declining trust in the future of the regime, have decided to leave the “Promised Land.” / IRNA
