Egypt opposes separation of the West Bank from Gaza

Pars Today – Egypt’s Foreign Minister stated that Cairo opposes any action that would separate the West Bank from the Gaza Strip.

Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s foreign minister, during a phone call with UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, emphasized the importance of ensuring a ceasefire in Gaza and implementing the second phase of the Trump plan.

Abdelatty also highlighted the need for temporary international forces in Gaza and support for Palestinian authorities in enforcing the law in the region. He reaffirmed that Egypt opposes any measures that would divide the West Bank from Gaza. / IRNA
