Denmark expresses regret over U.S. sanctions on ICC judges
Pars Today – Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement reaffirming its strong support for the International Criminal Court (ICC) and expressing deep regret over the U.S. decision to impose sanctions on two of its judges.
The statement criticized Washington’s move, which came after Israel’s request to review the arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Galant was denied. The ICC has described the sanctions on the two judges as a clear attack on its judicial independence and condemned the action. Previously, other European institutions and countries had also expressed concern over these sanctions. / IRNA
