The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Pars Today — The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the U.S. action in abducting the president of Venezuela.
Esmaeil Baghaei, speaking at a press conference, said: “This has been the worst year in terms of disrespect for the UN Charter, violations of international law, and the continued impunity for heinous international crimes. The atrocities occurring in Gaza and the West Bank are among the worst crimes. We have also witnessed attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, dealing a severe blow to the non-proliferation regime.”
Regarding Maduro’s abduction by the U.S., the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson added: “Repeated violations of international rules do not mean their elimination. Rather, the conclusion should be that without these principles, the world turns into a jungle, where some powers attempt to impose their will through force.” / Tasnim
