2019 VNL Finals: Brazil 3-2 Iran

Brazil has secured the last semifinal spot after topping Iran in a 5-set thriller at the 2019 Volleyball Nations League Finals.

According to Press TV, Brazil, who had defeated Iran in the previous round, got off to a promising start in Chicago, racing to a 25-20 win in the opening set, before doubling their advantage with a 25-23 victory in the 2nd set.

The Asian powerhouse however, got back to life in the 3rd set, beating the Olympic champions 26-24.

Team Iran were in high spirits and pulled level after claiming the 4th set 25-20. But the South Americans retook the initiative in the final set as they took it 15-10 to join Russia, team USA and Poland in this year's semi-finals.
