Asian Junior Wushu Championships: Iran earn 1 gold, 4 bronze
Iranian young Wushu practitioners have put-on some good performances on the 1st day of the 2019 Asian Junior Wushu Championships, after pocketing 1 gold and 3 bronze medals.
According to Press TV, in the Sanda Discipline, and in 56 Kg category, Soheil Mousavi, managed to earn the gold medal after defeating his Chinese opponent in the final.
In the Taolu Discipline, the Iranian women’s team, comprised of Fatemeh Jazini and Monireh Panahi, won the bronze in Duelin team event with 9.23 points.
In addition, in Nen Dau form of Taolu, Nazanin Baaz-daar won a bronze medal. Meanwhile in the same, but men’s discipline, Shahin Bani Talebi also bagged a bronze for Team Iran.
The 2019 edition of the event kicked-off on Monday in Brunei, and will go through the 23rd of August in Taolu and Sanda disciplines.
