Asian Junior Wushu C'ships: Iran win 1 gold, 2 bronze medals

In the 2019 Asian Junior Wushu Championships, young Iranian athletes have pocketed three more medals on the second day of the tournament.

According to Press TV, in the Sanda discipline, Yunes Shahraki grabbed gold in the 45 kg category after earning a hard-fought win over his Indian opponent.

That’s while Shahin Bani-Talebi managed to pocket bronze in Nan Chuan form of Taolu and Monireh Panahi bagged another bronze in Jinshu form of Taolu.

At the end of the second day of the event, Iran’s National Team earned two gold and five bronze medals. 

The 2019 edition of the event kicked-off on Monday in Brunei, and will go through the 23rd of August in Taolu and Sanda disciplines.
