FM visits Syria, meets President Assad

Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Damascus on Sunday. He sat down with Syrian president Bashar al-Assad and discussed with him steps taken by both sides to enhance bilateral cooperation with the aim of reaching a higher level of partnership in economy and trade.
