Pars Today - "Christian Figures", written by Mohammad Sadeq Ahmadi, has been published by Baqer-ol-Olum Research Center of Islamic Studies and Propagation.

Christian studies mainly focus on the worldview and tradition of Christian community in the world. These studies include the history of church, Christian figures, the biblical theology, languages of the Bible, Christian sects, ecclesiastic rituals and so on. As one of the important branches of Christian studies, mention can be made of acquaintance with the great figures of this religion and various books have been written on the issue. According to Pars Today, the book "Christian Figures" which has recently been published by the Iranian publisher, Baqer-ol-Olum Research Center of Islamic Studies and Propagation, is a collection of the Iranian writers' essays about Christian figures.

Regarding the historical periods of Christianity, this book deals with figures from pre-Christian era till the contemporary era. In other words, it begins with the prophets before Jesus, then it mentions Jesus and his apostles and pupils. It also includes the history of the church patriarchs and theologians of the advent of Christianity.

The book, also, includes a historical-theologian survey of the Medieval theologians, Christian monks, great figures of religious reform (proponents and opponents) and modern Christian thinkers.

In Iran, regarding the prevalence of scientific discussions about Christian figures at various circles of universities and seminaries, especially in late 2010s, Baqer-ol-Olum Research Center of Islamic Studies and Propagation planned the compilation of the entries of Christian figures under the mega-project of the Comprehensive Encyclopedia of Islamic-Human Sciences.

This 582-page collection of essays includes more than 120 entries and the most important subjects related to Christian figures.
