    Foreign diplomats pay respect to victims of Bandar Abbas incident

Pars Today- The ambassadors, diplomats and representatives of various member states of the UN, sending messages of condolences or coming to the mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the UN, paid respect to the victims of the recent blast in Martyr Rajaei port of Bandar Abbas.

The envoys and representatives of different countries, during the speech of Iran's envoy and permanent representative to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, in New York, offered their condolences and the sympathy of their country for the Iranian government and nation on the sad incident in Martyr Rajaei port of Bandar Abbas. According to Pars Today, Iravani and his deputy, Zahra Ershadi, welcomed the envoys of different countries who came to sign the memorial notebook for the victims of Martyr Rajaei port.

The memorial notebook of the sad event of Martyr Rajaei port of Bandar Abbas was open for two days at Iran's UN mission.

The Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations, too, issuing a statement, announced, "The member states of the GFDCUN express their sincere condolences to the people and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the sad blast of Martyr Rajaei port of Bandar Abbas on 26 April, 2025; the incident which led to death of tens and injury of hundreds of people."

This group wished rapid and complete healing for all injured of the event and made it clear that it stands in full solidarity with the Iranian people and government.

A great explosion took place in Martyr Rajaei port of Bandar Abbas (south of Iran) on Saturday April 26, 2025. The latest reports indicate that 70 people were killed and over 1000 others were injured in the blast.
