Baghaie: Security Council has acted irresponsibly regarding crimes of Zionist regime
Pars Today- The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the Zionist regime's airstrikes on civilian infrastructure in Yemen, including Sana'a International Airport, a power generation plant, and a cement factory.
Spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, "Esmaeil Baghaei" on Tuesday night referred to the intensification of the Zionist regime's attacks in Gaza and the continued killing of defenseless Palestinian children and women. He stated that the support of the US, Britain, and some other European countries for the Zionist regime is the main reason for the continuation of lawbreaking and crimes by Israel in occupied Palestine, as well as its repeated aggressions against Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.
According to Pars Today, Baghaei reiterated: The US and other countries supporting this regime are undoubtedly partners and accomplices in the crimes committed against the Muslim people of the region.
He emphasized: The Israeli regime's attacks on Yemen and the targeting of the country's economic infrastructure and public facilities undoubtedly constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity, and leave no doubt about the malicious intent of the decision-makers of the Zionist regime and its supporters to destroy and weaken the countries of the region.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also referred to the expansion of warmongering and expansionism by the Zionist regime throughout the West Asia region. He described the inaction of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) regarding the repeated violations of the fundamental principles of the UN Charter and international law as completely irresponsible and unjustifiable. Baghaie also called for serious action by the Islamic world to stop the insubordination of the occupying regime against Islamic nations.
