General Baqeri: Iran's defense systems capability upgraded manifold

Pars Today- Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Major General Mohammad Baqeri, said that the capability of discovery, reconnaissance, interception and destruction of the country's defense systems have increased manifold in comparison with last year.
Major General Baqeri attended the high operational session of the joint air defense base on Monday. According to Pars Today, Baqeri said, "This session was held with the aim of evaluation of the progress of air defense and preparedness of the Army Air Defense Force, the IRGC Airspace Force and Khatam-ul-Anbiya Joint Air Defense Base; and today we are witness to spectacular upgrading of Iran's air defense capability and preparedness."
He added, "In some parts, we have had up to 5-times increase of radar and monitoring systems, detection and reconnaissance of foreign moves, and some of the air defense capabilities in the systems of firing, interception and destruction of invading aircraft have been upgraded up to 2-3 times."
Major General Baqeri, stressing that very great works have been done in finding vulnerabilities, and removal of weak points, added, "The systems of command control are doing their mission efficiently. Iran's space is permanently monitored and the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are in %100 readiness."
Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces made it clear, "Our fellow-combatants in the Iranian air defense are controlling the space of the country round the clock. and, with their repeated exercises and drills, make themselves prepared for any possible situation."
He reiterated, "The ill-wishers of the Iranian nation and the enemies must know that invasion of our country's space will bring about a lot of damages for them and, definitely, their costs will be much higher than the results they expect."
Major General Baqeri said in the end, "With regards to the manifold increase of investment for strengthening air defense of Iran's Armed Forces, gradually these capabilities will be spectacularly upgraded."
