Imam Khamenei: The Islamic Republic demonstrated unparalleled strength of system and country's foundations to the world

Pars Today – On the occasion of the 40th day of the martyrs of the 12-day imposed war by the Zionist regime against the Iranian nation, a commemoration ceremony was held for these martyrs by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiya, attended by the families of the martyrs, various segments of the people, as well as a number of officials.

In his speech at this ceremony, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, described this war as a manifestation of the will and power of the Islamic Republic and a demonstration of the unparalleled strength of its foundations. Emphasizing that the main reason for the enmities is the malevolent opposition of adversaries to the faith, knowledge, and unity of the Iranian nation, the Leader stated: "By divine grace, our nation will not abandon the path of strengthening faith and expanding diverse knowledge, and we will, to the dismay of the enemy, elevate Iran to the peak of progress and glory." 

According to Pars Today, citing the official website of the Leader's Office, Ayatollah Khamenei, while once again offering condolences to the families of the martyred military commanders, scientists, and beloved people who were martyred in the recent war, noted: "In addition to the great honors the Iranian nation achieved during these 12 days—which the entire world now acknowledges—it was able to demonstrate its power, resilience, determination, willpower, and capability to the world in such a way that everyone felt the might of the Islamic Republic firsthand." 

The Leader regarded the manifestation of the unparalleled strength of the foundations of the Islamic Republic as another advantage of the recent war and added: "These events were not unprecedented for us. Over the past 46 years, in addition to the eight-year imposed war, the Islamic Republic has repeatedly faced events such as coups, various military, political, and security seditions, and attempts to coerce weak-willed individuals to act against the nation—yet it has neutralized all the enemy’s plots." 

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the foundation of the Islamic Republic as being built upon two pillars of "religion" and "knowledge" and stated: "The people and youth of Iran, relying on these two pillars, forced the enemy to retreat in various arenas, and they will continue to do so in the future."

The Leader identified the primary reason for the opposition of global arrogance—led by the criminal U.S.—to the Islamic Republic as religion, knowledge, and the unity of Iranians under the shadow of the Quran and Islam, stating: "What they raise as issues—the nuclear programs, enrichment, and human rights—are mere excuses. The real cause of their grievance and opposition is the emergence of new discourse and the capabilities of the Islamic Republic in various scientific, human, technical, and religious fields."

Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that, by divine grace, the Iranian nation will not abandon its religion and knowledge, adding: "We will take great strides in strengthening religion and expanding as well as deepening diverse knowledge, and we will, to the dismay of the enemy, elevate Iran to the peak of progress and glory."
