Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Army
Pars Today – The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army stated that the Zionist regime has realized it made a strategic mistake, emphasizing: “We do not consider the enemy’s threat over.”
Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Army, speaking on Sunday before senior commanders and officials of the Army’s Ground Forces, said: “The Zionist regime is a hostile enemy that during the 12-day imposed war, we witnessed part of its crimes and brutality against the Iranian nation.” According to Pars Today citing IRNA, Hatami added: “Despite enduring some damages, thanks to divine grace, the bravery of our warriors, and the presence and resistance of the people, we emerged victorious in this unequal confrontation. By inflicting serious damage on the enemy, we thwarted its attempts to achieve its objectives.”
Major General Hatami stressed: “The missile and drone capabilities of the Islamic system remain intact and ready for operation, just as we continued our strikes up to the very moment a ceasefire was forced upon the enemy. We will, of course, pursue our path in the defense industry and in all fields related to science and technology with even greater determination than before.”
The Iranian Army Commander noted: “The opposition of global arrogance to the Islamic Republic of Iran stems from our religious and national values and from Iran’s pursuit of the peaks of scientific advancement. Today, thanks to God, all of our armed forces, including the four branches of the Army, are moving even faster toward the heights of science and technology and are more determined than ever to continue enhancing their combat capabilities and full-scale defense preparedness.”
Referring to the statements of the Leader of the Revolution that “we must consider even a one percent threat as a hundred percent threat,” Major General Hatami stressed: “We must never underestimate the enemy or assume its threat has ended.”
He added: “The enemy, under the illusion of being able to harm the Islamic system, pursued various conspiracies. But the Iranian people, with extraordinary unity and solidarity, delivered a harsh slap in the face to them. The determination, cohesion, and unity between the people, the armed forces, and the officials were unbelievable to the enemies and many observers in practice.
Grand and inspiring movements—such as the ‘Fridays of Rage and Victory’ and the magnificent funerals of the martyrs—were examples of the will and solidarity of a great and epic-making nation that, under the wise and courageous leadership of dear Imam Khamenei, defended the territorial integrity and independence of the country stronger and more powerfully than ever before. And the Zionist regime, upon witnessing the miraculous grandeur of the Iranian people’s resilience, realized that it had made a strategic miscalculation and mistake.”
