Thoughts of Imam Khomeini | US economic sanctions are ineffective

Pars Today - Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul), the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, considered US sanctions ineffective.

According to Pars Today, citing emam.com, Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul), in one of his messages to the Iranian people on the fifth anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, stated: "The administrators of the White House must know that the world has changed, and the satanic powers have been disarmed of their old and new colonial tactics. The agents of American policy must change their way of thinking and their policies and should not think that the management of the entire world is in their hands, and that all countries are blindly at their disposal. They must note that their economic sanctions and false lists will not make the world feel constrained for a country."

Rejection of American peace

Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul) also emphasized: "If the Iranian nation had wanted to accept the American-style peace, it would not have separated from America from the very beginning, severed relations, cut off its hand from Iran, and expelled its spies. And today, if it were to extend its hand for American-style peace, American advisors would enter the arena. We cannot accept a peace that has an American design."

Liberation from America's snare

The great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran also stated in a speech to a gathering of system officials: "A group advises us that we must make peace. This stems from weakness; these weak individuals who have always been in America's snare, or others like them, say such things. But we have just escaped from this snare; we are not willing to enter it again. Our nation is not willing to enter this snare again; for American advisors to come back and establish whatever government they want. Until now, they have held us back; enough is enough."

Severing the hand of the Great Satan from the region

Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul), meanwhile, in another message to the Iranian people, had emphasized: "The revolutionary nation of Iran considers the defense of Islam and severing the hand of the Great Satan from the region as the top priority of its programs."
