Iranian researchers\' innovation: Generating energy from body movements to treat wounds
Pars Today – Researchers at the University of Tehran have developed a system that utilizes the body's natural movements to generate energy and stimulate healing processes.
Researchers at the University of Tehran's Biochemistry and Biophysics Research Center (IBB) have developed a fully organic, wireless, and biodegradable system that harnesses the body's natural movements to generate energy and stimulate healing processes.
According to Pars Today, the system requires no external equipment and can operate automatically through simple patient movements, such as walking, to aid in wound healing or monitor vital signs.
Of particular note is an innovative aspect of this work: the use of biodegradable conductive inks (based on zinc metal). After fulfilling their function, these inks gradually dissolve and are absorbed by the tissue without requiring medical intervention.
