Pars Today – Iran’s Foreign Minister emphasized the country’s determination to defend its national sovereignty against foreign interference.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, held a phone conversation with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, to discuss regional and international developments as well as bilateral relations.

According to Pars Today, during the call, Araghchi referred to the recent unrest in Iran, which he said was fueled by certain terrorist elements incited by the Zionist regime and the United States, turning peaceful public protests into chaos. He emphasized that, thanks to the vigilance of the Iranian people and law enforcement forces, calm has been restored.

Araghchi also referred to the provocative statements by U.S. officials, which he described as clear interference in Iran’s internal affairs, and emphasized the Iranian people’s determination to defend national sovereignty and security against any form of hostility or foreign meddling.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, highlighted the importance of ongoing consultations between Iran, the UAE, and other regional countries, stressing the need for cooperation to strengthen stability and security in the region. He underlined that close coordination between Tehran, Abu Dhabi, and neighboring states is essential for consolidating stability and security in West Asia.

Araghchi and Fidan discuss regional developments and Iran

On Tuesday, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, held a phone conversation with Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s Foreign Minister. During the call, the two ministers discussed and exchanged views on the latest regional developments.

In the conversation, Araghchi outlined the recent events in Iran, emphasizing how peaceful public protests were turned violent by externally-linked violent elements, resulting in the deaths of several Iranian citizens. He shared details of foreign interference and the unrest with his Turkish counterpart.
