Araghchi: Indifference toward US and Israeli lawlessness will lead to global insecurity

Pars Today – The minister of foreign affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart, reaffirmed Iran’s determination to continue defending its national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to Pars Today, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi spoke by phone with Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, about the latest regional developments and the security repercussions of the US and Zionist regime’s military aggression against Iran.

Referring to the responsibility of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to confront the blatant violations of international peace and security caused by the aggressive actions of the Zionist regime and the United States, Araghchi stressed that any indifference towards the continuous law-breaking by the US and the Israeli regime will lead to the insecurity of the entire region and the world.

The Russian foreign minister, while condemning the US and Israeli military aggression against Iran, congratulated his Iranian counterpart on the election of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and expressed Russia’s readiness to exert all its efforts toward strengthening regional security.
