Pars Today – The Spokesperson for the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated: The Strait of Hormuz has always been a safe and peaceful passage, and even trans-regional countries used it to pass their ships.
According to Pars Today, Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, the Spokesperson for the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said in an interview on Sunday regarding the American-Zionist military aggression against Iran: The main issue of the United States with the Islamic Republic of Iran is not the nuclear issue at all; rather, it is Iran's power and independence, an independence that very few countries in the world fully possess today.
Regarding the possibility of an invading enemy entering Iran through land borders, he said: "We have complete readiness for any potential scenario the enemy might design, even if they intend to enter into a war by land. This is our strong point."
General Akraminia emphasized: "If the enemy decides to enter by land, they will surely receive heavy blows and be harmed; harms that will be far greater than this distant war that is ongoing today."
The Spokesperson for the Army of Iran added: "Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, it is these malicious actions by the United States of America and the Zionist regime that have endangered the security of this strait. The Strait of Hormuz has always been a safe and peaceful passage, and even trans-regional countries used it to pass their ships. But after this aggression, the situation has changed."
He continued: "Logically, it is not acceptable for Iran to be under threat and attack, while other countries continue to benefit from the security of this strait. Especially considering that a significant part of the strait is under Iran's control, and we do not benefit sufficiently from it."
