IRGC attack on American company Oracle

Pars Today — The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement that the American company Oracle was struck in response to the assassination of the head of Iran’s Strategic Council on Foreign Relations and his spouse.

According to Pars Today, the IRGC Public Relations Office issued a statement saying: “As we had previously warned, in response to the assassination of Iranian individuals, we will target information‑technology and artificial‑intelligence espionage companies that serve as pillars of the enemy’s terrorist operations.”

According to the IRGC’s announcement, following the destruction of the cloud computing infrastructure of the American company Amazon in retaliation for the assassination of General Fathalizadeh, Deputy of Operations for the IRGC Ground Force and Commander of the Fatehin Special Unit of the Basij, the data center and computing infrastructure of the American company Oracle, located in the UAE, have also been struck in response to the assassination of Kamal Kharazi, head of Iran’s Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, and his wife.

The IRGC’s statement reads: “Should these crimes be repeated and another assassination occur, the next company should be prepared to receive a decisive response.”
