Araghchi: International community must responsibly hold aggressors accountable

Pars Today – Iran’s Foreign Minister emphasized that the international community must take a responsible approach and hold aggressors accountable for their violations of law and their crimes.

According to Pars Today, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, in a converation with Beate Meinl‑Reisinger, Austria’s Foreign Minister, described the current situation in the region and the Strait of Hormuz as the direct result of U.S. and Israeli aggression against Iran, and stressed that the international community must hold the aggressors accountable for their lawbreaking and crimes.

He noted that Iran is determined to use all its capabilities to defend its sovereignty, national interests, and territorial integrity.

Beate Meinl‑Reisinger, Austria’s Foreign Minister, for his part, expressed concern during the conversation about the consequences of the war for global security and the world economy, and emphasized the need to resort to diplomacy to stop the war, announcing her country’s readiness to help in this regard.
